The gang at Vitamin Records is back with another electronic tribute to a famous rock band, and this time
the Doors are the lucky victims. The usual faceless electronica acts throw their hats into the ring, with the predictably wishy-washy results that only the
Electronic Tribute series can guarantee. Keeping Motor Industries down to two songs tends to help them reign in their inconsistencies and deliver some solid material. Indeed, they don't make you want to turn off the record, which is a huge achievement when held up against the rest of the dull and uninspired songs found here. This intriguing concept continues to be ground into dust by the money-hungry executives at Vitamin, and it is very hard to recommend this to anyone with even a passing interest in
the Doors or electronica.
