This refreshingly beautiful and certainly powerful act hailing from Philadelphia provide their listener with quite an experience on this, their first 7". Passionate melodic riffs over smooth driving guitars with slightly distorted yelling vocals pushed in the background, all brought together to form an outstanding first effort. Their music seems to push unspoken limits with a passive/aggressive ease, in a style slightly reminiscent of Hum or a slightly sedated Unwound. Highly recommended. ~ Blake Butler
