Pistol Grip makes a lasting impression on

Stiff Little Fingers-influenced assault on tunes like "Aristocratic State" and "Get Up to Get Shot Down" that never disappoint.
PG brings their sound to new heights on "Bourgeoisie," which can only be described as "punkabilly," complete with a piercing, repetitious single piano note. As it plays out,
Kalico Rose never buckles, unveiling one feisty rocker after another. Even the outdated sentiment behind "Fuck the P.M.R.C." can't keep it from being an exhilarating anti-censorship rant. Sure to please fans of
Dropkick Murphys at their hardest, as well as any of the aforementioned points of influence,
Pistol Grip may be revivalists, but punk rock this genuine and reactionary is always welcome.
