Returning with an epic triple album,
Living Legends alumni
the Grouch & Eligh return with
The Tortoise and the Crow. Made up of Lighthouses, a solo album from
the Grouch, Nomads, a solo
Eligh record, and 333, which features the duo together, the crowd-funded album is a dream come true for fans of the hip-hop duo. Despite its long running time and sprawling track list, the album is remarkably free of filler, offering up a little over two and a half hours of incredibly solid underground hip-hop. While their more personal lyrics and melancholy production might not be ready for the club, these tracks will satisfy anyone looking to explore rap's creative side. ~ Gregory Heaney
