Decent hard rock with some slick glammy/punk tinges. It's got plenty of power and velocity, but isn't exactly the most original stuff out there. The level of polish on the record hides what could have been a more singular or interesting sound. Think
Supersuckers, or more accurately,
Rocket From the Crypt. The vox offered up by Billy Hopeless are plenty throaty, at some points reaching a
Stiv Bators level. It is thunderous rock & roll, overall, but one is left to wonder what just a little bit more rawness could have contributed to the sound. ~ Jeremy Salmon
