Waller uplifts and transforms such songs as "Annie Laurie," "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot," "Frankie and Johnny," "Oh Dem Golden Slippers," "Go Down Moses," and "When You and I Were Young, Maggie." These versions are often somewhat unique, and
