Far from the most reputable label around, Legacy Entertainment (not to be confused with Legacy, Sony's catalog label) has been known to release compilations of inferior re-recordings without notifying the potential consumer in any way. Any of their releases should be approached with some apprehension.
Toddlers' Playtime Songs, like all their other children's music compilations, isn't bad, but it sounds low-budget -- as well as quickly recorded. Some of the songs here are well known, and they include "When the Saints Go Marching In," "Little Tommy Tinker," "Michael Row the Boat Ashore," "Sitting on the Farm," and "The Polka Dot Pony." ~ Andy Kellman
