This two-fer package makes perfect sense, combining two albums by Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme, a husband-and-wife vocal pop duo whose careers, both as solo artists and together, stretched from the 1950s into the new millennium, featuring the pair performing classic Broadway musical songs from the period on 1963's Two on the Aisle (with arrangements by Don Costa and originally released on LP by United Artists) and 1967's Together on Broadway (with arrangements by Patrick Williams and originally released on LP by Columbia). It's a match made in heaven, really, with Lawrence and Gorme bringing their voices and easy, natural harmonies to bear on songs like "Till There Was You," "Put on a Happy Face," and "Cabaret," among many others, and the two LPs fit together seamlessly.
