Unplugged, the live acoustic album from Southern California band
the Kry, was issued in 1995 by Freedom Records. The trio, made up of French-Canadian brothers, Jean-Luc Lajoie and Yves Lajoie, and American
Pete Nelson, combine CCM, acoustic rock, and alternative Christian to form a style that features upbeat guitar rhythms and steady beats. The project contains both previously released tracks, including "I Can't Stop Thinking About You" and "You're All I Need" from their 1994 album
You, and new recordings such as "Empty Heart." Jean-Luc Lajoie provides lead vocals, bass, and harmonica, while
Pete Nelson plays guitars, keyboards, and offers supporting vocals. Yves Lajoie also supplies background vocals and serves as the drummer. ~ Ashleigh Kittle
