Over a decade after the release of the Zombie EP, Ohio metalcore crew the Devil Wears Prada delivered a sequel, ZII. Their first release with new bassist Mason Nagy, the five-track set is as punishing and melodic as one would expect from the band, with themes of hopelessness and turmoil mirroring real world events that influenced the band during recording. From the machine gun drums on "Forlorn" to the crushing riffs on "Nightfall," this is an ideal soundtrack to the apocalypse.
