Met een voorkeur voor uitgesponnen tracks met uitvoerige intro’s, reist Deadmau5 met >Album Title Goes Here< de ruimtewegen af in midtempo, met slechts af en toe een hobbel in de weg. Dit is de gemaskeerde EDM superster zijn vergelijkbaar getitelde opvolger van Random Album Title (2008) en For Lack of a Better Name (2009). De meest lonende momenten zijn de meer ingehouden nummers, zoals “Telemiscommunications” (met Imogen Heap), of de stevige baslijn op “Superliminal” die je iets geeft aan vast te klampen. Alles bij elkaar opgeteld, doet >Album Title Goes Here< niet genoeg aanspraak, is het niet over de top genoeg, en heeft het niet genoeg grote namen om het tot de V.I.P. afdeling te schoppen. Dit Deadmau5 album druist in tegen zijn publieke persoonlijkheid, het is te uitgespreid (zou strakker kunnen zijn), te nederig (zou overtuigender kunnen) en daarom het meest geschikt voor zijn al bestaande fans.
