Modern Jazz Quartet fanatic. It contains seven selections taken from Jan. 1955 Birdland radio broadcasts. The recording quality is just so-so but the playing by the classic group (which at the time still featured Kenny Clarke on drums) is decent. However the set (which has no liner notes or basic information) is far from essential, especially considering how many other
