This is a most unusual record. Five studio musicians (including saxophonist
Jim Horn and a then-unknown guitarist named Glen Campbell) play jazz versions of ten
Bob Dylan songs. This LP mostly finds the players sticking fairly close to the melodies (including such tunes as "Blowin' in the Wind," "Hey Mr. Tambourine Man" and "Like a Rolling Stone") in renditions that are generally under three minutes long. It's a very interesting novelty record. ~ Scott Yanow
