Entradas e Bandeiras was the follow-up to 1975's
Fruto Proibido, arguably the biggest classic released by
Rita Lee as a solo artist. Just as on that album, the music presented by
Lee here consists of pure rock. The most successful hit of
Entradas e Bandeiras was the dramatic and slightly
Bowie-breathing "Coisas da Vida." That track, "Troca Toca," and "Corista de Rock" are all great rock songs by any standards, showing
Rita Lee at her best. The other six tracks haven't quite the same panache as the three mentioned above, but they are still good, solid rock songs.
