It's difficult to really call this two-disc set "Golden Hits" since there are few of Kenny Rogers' actual hits here, and the ones that are, like "Ruby Don't Take Your Love to Town" and "Ruben James," are really studio re-records, and not the original versions. The rest of the tracks are mostly backline cuts that will be of interest only to the most ardent Kenny Rogers fan, which doesn't make this a bad collection, it's just not his "Golden Hits."
