La Arrolladora Banda El Limon de Rene Camacho's
Gracias por Creer translates into English as "Thanks for Believing." Indeed, this large Mazatlan group, who have been making music together since the middle of the 1960s, have much to be thankful for. Their singles and albums have regularly charted, and concerts all over Mexico, Central and South America, and in the United States have sold out consistently.
Gracias por Creer entered Billboard's Top 50 upon release. It offers 13 new tracks composed by cream-of-the-crop Mexican regional songwriters, including Horacio Palencia, America Sierra, and Jose Alberto Inzunza. The set's first chart-topping single, "El Ruido de Tus Zapatos," is one of three tunes contributed by Sinaloan songwriter Espinoza Paz. Also notable is the inclusion of "Cosas Que Nunca Te Dije," which was originally a hit for the Mexican female trio Pandora. Fans of La Arrolladora Banda El Limon's unique banda sound will not be disappointed in this grand collection.
