If you're sure that soothing, smoothed out lullaby versions of
Garth Brooks songs like "Long Neck Bottle," "Two of a Kind, Workin' on a Full House," and "Friends in Low Places" are just what your little one needs to drift off to Sleepville, then this washed-out and mellow set is perfect, although these guitar, gentle percussion, and pedal steel instrumentals sort of miss the point of
Brooks' amped-up, post-modern honky tonk act. Do we really want little ones to have friends in low places? Some songs, however pretty they sound, just aren't supposed to be lullabies. ~ Steve Leggett
