The
Infamous Stringdusters manage to combine enough traditional bluegrass with a jam band sensibility and songs that merge, at their best, into a sharp and lightly progressive acoustic country-rock, and they do all of this by expanding what bluegrass can be rather than abandoning it. The group's fifth studio album,
Let It Go, released on the group's own High Country imprint, falls right in line as another fine example of the band's signature and varied sound. ~ Steve Leggett
