This latest installment in the
Rockabye Baby! series features gentle, atmospheric renditions of a dozen
Beatles songs (there are actually 13 tracks -- "Golden Slumbers" opens the playlist and then appears as a reprise at the end of it) arranged and performed by
Mike Baiardi using Mellotron, bells, and other light touches. Shining through are the lovely melodies that lie at the heart of songs like "Across the Universe," "In My Life," "Dear Prudence," and "All My Loving," which shouldn't come as much of a surprise to anyone. ~ Steve Leggett
