La Busqueda debuted with the release of
Te Reto a Que Me Olvides, introducing a stylized Colombian Cumbia meets local Norteño. This 11-track record opens with their own version of
Alejandro Sanz's "Amiga Mia," followed by a melancholic "Me Cansé de Esperar." The mid-tempo "Tic Tac"; mariachi-inflected "Me Bebi Tu Recuerdo," composed by Osvaldo Franco; and romantic "Te Reto a Que Me Olvides" emerge as the album's best songs. ~ Drago Bonacich
