Burt Bacharach did, and this collection gathers some of his best-known love songs as performed by artists including
Diana Ross,
the Walker Brothers, and
Bacharach himself. This set doesn't always feature the definitive versions of these songs; "Walk On By" is performed by
Stan Getz instead of
Dionne Warwick, and indeed,
Bacharach's most enduring muse is nowhere to be found. However, there are still plenty of impressive performances here, including

Tammi Terrell's "A Sinner's Devotion," and
