Before MCA issued the definitive two-CD anthology containing every significant
Moonglows single, this mid-'80s anthology was a good sampler covering seminal material from the vocal group that championed "blow" harmony.
The Moonglows' finest tracks -- among them "Sincerely," "The Ten Commandments of Love," and "Twelve Months of the Year" -- featured brilliant vocals from Bobby Lester or
Harvey Fuqua. The sound was acceptable, and the annotation was brief but thorough. This is no longer in print, but the MCA collection eclipses it anyway. ~ Ron Wynn
