Seattle's the Myriad play bright, sculpted alt-rock that makes the most of the recording studio, and lead singer/producer Jeremy Edwardson's vocal timbre and singing style owe a debt to Thom Yorke. Where the group--winners of a high-profile MTV band competition--departs from the Radiohead influence is on the lyrics, which place them firmly in the Christian-rock camp. This second album continues the good songwriting work of their debut, and establishes the Myriad as one of the more interesting CCM bands on the scene.
