Adam Wendler

Starting 2021 with a bang, ”Thin Ice" is Adam Wendler’s first single of the year. In true 2020 fashion the song was co-written in a Zoom session back in November. It came together in just over an hour together with the band Tors. It can be described as modern folk-pop at it's finest - combining a melancholic mood with a thick sound and upbeat tempo, it deals with the dilemma of driving a partner away due to one's own insecurities. Adam, a multi-instrumentalist from a small town in Canada, currently based in Berlin, has come a long way since picking up the guitar and starting to write songs at the age of 15. He first came to Berlin in 2017 and has played over 400 shows in Germany and Canada since then, including performances at Open Flair as well as support shows for Ryan Sheridan and the Arkells. Besides perfecting his one-man-band setup, Adam has received critical acclaim for his many thought provoking and elaborate music videos. Several of his songs have ranked in the Singer-Songwriter iTunes charts leading to airplay on national radio in both Canada and Germany. Since 2018 Adam has also been continuously collaborating with songwriters and producers in the European music scene, featuring on and co-writing tracks by artists such as B Young, Meynberg, Henri Purnell and Pacific. He is known for having no musical boundaries; blending pop elements with folk, country, indie and a touch of rock, he’s got something for everyone, with ‘Thin Ice’ being his finest work to date.
