Profile
Violinist and cellist Camille Berthollet – born January 4, 1999, Annecy, Haute-Savoie, France - began performing in competitions from an early age. Studying at the Lyon Conservatorium at the age of 12, she went on to further her education with a degree from Geneva University of Music. She won the inaugural Prodiges talent competition in 2014 at the age of 15, launching her career to a wider audience. Together with her sister Julie – born May 16, 1997, in Mauritius - the duo performs using violin, viola and cello in a variety of combinations. With French cellist Gautier Capuçon as a mentor, the duo set about recording their 2016 debut album Camille & Julie Berthollet, which charted at Number 41 in the French Charts. #3 was released the following year with Entre 2 (2018), achieving positions of Number 83 and Number 89 in the charts, respectively. They released Nos 4 Saisons, their fourth album together, in 2020. Camille & Julie Berthollet returned together in 2021 with the album Series. ©Copyright Music Story 2021
