Christopher Glynn is a native of Leicester. He attended New College, Oxford, and the Royal Academy of Music in London. His piano teachers were John Streets and
Malcolm Martineau. He has collaborated as an accompanist for

Roderick Williams,
Jonas Kaufmann,
Yvonne Kenny,
Bryn Terfel,
Anthony Rolfe Johnson,
Christiane Karg, and other vocalists, and worked with instrumentalists
Daniel Hope,
Julian Bliss,
Andrej Bielow,
David Garrett, and
Tine Thing Helseth.
Glynn has also served as accompanist for
The Sixteen. In addition to his career as a pianist,
Glynn is also the artistic director of the Ryedale Festival, and a professor at the Royal College of Music. He has recorded for Hyperion, Avie, and Signum Classics.
