Whereas the Oblivians (the band from which Greg got his last name) were pure deep-fried noise, this is a mix of country, pop, and a little Soul. Edgy and unsure-sounding but not at all bombastic like the Oblivians were, this is the sweeter, lighter side of Greg Oblivian.
