James Wilson

Wilson, James (b. London, 27 Sept 1922). Irish composer of English origin. A pupil of Rowley in London, he moved to Eire in 1948. He has worked with Bart¢kian complex metres in operas (Twelfth Night, 1969), choral works, concertos and chamber music.
