Jerry Fielding

Bandleader, arranger. Jerry Fielding served as a composer for Tommy Dorsey, Charlie Barnet and Kay Kyser at one time, before becoming musical director on a numbe of successful television shows. These included Groucho Marx's "You Bet Your Life," "Life of Riley," and Mickey Rooney's progam. He began as an arranger for Alvino Rey's band at 17. He also led his own dance band during the '50s.
