Italian rapper

Italian rapper and pianist Jacopo Lazzarini, professionally known as Lazza, was born in Milan and studied piano and classical music at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi. In 2012, he decided to dedicate himself to hip-hop and rap and started to promote his songs on YouTube, releasing a free download of his track 'Destiny' whilst also joining the groups Zero2 and Block Recordz. He collaborated with many other artists including rapper Emis Killa and came to more widespread attention in 2016 with the single 'DDA' with 333 Mob. In 2017, Lazza released his debut studio album 'Zzala' which explored the trap genre. The album received gold status, alongside the singles 'DDA', 'MOB' and 'Lario'. During this year, Lazza also performed on two tours and worked on several collaborations with other artists including Ernia, Nitro and Salmo. In 2018, another Gold rating followed with the single 'Porto Cervo'. 2019 saw the release of his second studio album 'Re Mida' which went to straight to number one in the Italian Album Charts. The album fine-tuned Lazza's individual style and featured collaborations with several artists including Tedua, Izi, Fabri Fibra and Kaydy Cain. © ©Copyright Music Story 2020
