Marcos Yaroide is a Latin contemporary Christian music (CCM) vocalist of Dominican heritage who began his career in the duo
Tercer Cielo before embarking on a solo career in 2006. Founded in 2000 by
Yaroide and
Juan Carlos Rodriguez,
Tercer Cielo released three full-length albums -- En Ti (2000), Tercer Cielo (2003), and Ahora Tengo Mas (2005) -- before
Yaroide split for a solo career. Shortly afterward, he made his full-length debut with
Cielos Abiertos (2006). Two years later he released his second album,
Mi Mejor Alabanza (2008), in association with Machete Music, a subsidiary of Universal Latino. His first major-label effort,
Mi Mejor Alabanza includes a newly recorded version of "Todo Se Lo Debo a Él" (originally featured on his debut album) featuring reggaetón artist Divino. ~ Jason Birchmeier
