Mark Brzezicki was born in the U.K. in 1957. He is probably best known for his work as the drummer for
Big Country. With that group he appeared on no less than 19 discs (including compilations and live releases). However, he has also worked with a wide variety of other artists. These include
Pete Townsend and Townsend's former bandmate
Roger Daltrey. He has crossed into the progressive rock genre by performing with former
Marillion vocalist
Fish on several releases. His resumé also includes albums by artists as diverse as
the Cult, Canadian group
Red Rider,
Joan Armatrading,
Howard Jones,
Rick Astley, and
Midge Ure. He also played in
Procol Harum. ~ Gary Hill
