Moonthoth emerged from the depths of murky, vast, Slavic forests. In the early 2000s band began as a regular horde called Nigra Missa, to finally evolve into a one-man project. Moonthoth began his dark journey with self-released demos "Ordo Noctum" in 2007 and "Dark Requiem of Twilight" in 2010 (remixed in 2019). Band's music oscillates around atmospheric black metal, combined with some symphonic influences. The name refers to the lunar deity Thot/Thoth.
