Olmo

Michael Olmo, better known as the rapper Iann Dior, was born in Puerto Rico in 1999 but has lived for most of his life in the town of Corpus Christi in Texas. He began his rapping career under the stage name Lil Rock and then Olmo prior to adopting his current persona. As a young rapper he quickly learned the art of manipulating social media and his popularity grew rapidly with some of his early releases such as 'Molly', 'Emotions' and 'Cutthroat' collectively accumulating hundreds of thousands of hits on SoundCloud. To date, these early tracks still rank as some of his most successful recordings.In 2019 his career received a significant boost when he recorded 'Gone Girl' with Trippie Redd, the rapper and songwriter from Canton, Ohio. In April of the same year, Olmo signed a deal with the independent record label 10K Projects and joined their stable of up-and-coming hip-hop stars including Icy Narco and Lil Gnar. © ©Copyright Music Story 2020
