Sea Change

Sea Change

Ellen Sunde, lo-fi electronics from Oslo

Sea Change established a mix of ethereal introverted synth-pop, combining shimmery synths, electronic beats and intimate vocals in her 2015 album debut Breakage. The album was recorded and produced in her Oslo bedroom over the course of a couple of years.

Her follow up album, made after relocating to Berlin, takes us to bolder and trippier soundscapes. She explores the abstract fringes of pop-music, combining haunting modular textures, pitch-shifted vocals and club inspired beats.

The album is co-produced by Baya in Luft Studio and is set to be released in the Fall 2019.

Sea Change has played concerts across Europe to rave reviews. Her music has been hailed as a “futuristic whirlwind of emotion” by DIY mag, a “deathly kind of disco” by the Guardian, with NME saying she “oozes ambient cool”.
