Snootie Wild

Snootie Wild

Coming on weird and wild like he was a 2 Chainz or Gucci Mane for the Memphis set, rapper Snootie Wild rocketed into the Top 20 of the rap charts with his debut single, "Yayo." Produced by K. Figz, Snootie self-released the track in 2013. It was discovered by fellow Memphis rapper Yo Gotti, who remixed and added his own verse to the song, a version that saw release in 2014. That same year, Snootie made his official debut with Go Mode, an EP released by the Epic-affiliated label CMG. Snootie Wild died in Houston, Texas, on February 26, 2022; he was 36 years of age. ~ David Jeffries
