Taura

British singer-songwriter Taura is an emerging artist based in London, releasing her debut EP this Autumn. Combining multiple layered vocals with a more stripped back approach to production, and a background in Jazz piano, Taura creates a relaxed poppy/R&B sound, drawing inspiration from the likes of Sabrina Claudio, Syd and Dua Lipa. Her upcoming EP ‘Lucky Girls’ is entirely self-written and produced. Taura studied music at Goldsmiths and built on that experience by turning her hand more recently to music production, allowing ‘Lucky Girls’ to present a completely independent and personal project. Working previously as a songwriter, Taura's debut release as an artist will speak to her generation with powerfully relatable lyrics and beautifully addictive melodies.
