The Necdet Yasar Ensemble

Known as the master of the classical Turkish lute, or tanbur, Necdet Yasar leads an ensemble of strings, hand drums, and percussion. Complex melodic progressions and subtle microtonal nuances are easily handled in these renditions of Sufi and Ottoman music.
