Profile
The Wild Tchoupitoulas are a New Orleans band that produced their only record under Allen Toussaint. Recorded in 1976, this was the first time the Art and Aaron Neville recorded together. The funky beat was played by Booker T. Washington, who once led a group with jazz tenor saxophonist Ben Webster. This created a sensation when it was released in 1976 and launched the recording career of the harmonizing Neville brothers.
