Après avoir parcouru le monde pour défendre leur brillant album Rats, le quintet belge revient avec Thin Walls ! Les musiciens ont gagné en maturité et cet opus sonne comme un nouveau départ. Eux qui avaient pris l’habitude d’autoproduire leurs créations, se sont cette fois-ci rendus aux Yellow Fish Studios au Royaume-Uni pour travailler avec le producteur pop Ben Hillier (Depeche Mode, Blur, Natalie Imbruglia…). Balthazar présente une pop/rock élégante reposant sur la qualité des musiciens qui incorporent des violons et du synthétiseur dans le classique trio guitare – basse - batterie. Composé sur la route, dans les hôtels, pendant leurs tournées, l’album est porté par les voix lancinantes des membres du groupe qui prouvent leur maitrise et leur professionnalisme.
