Husein Alatas is not actually a new face in Indonesia’s music industry. Before Indonesian Idol, he has been around with a rock band called “Log Guns”, and also “Children of Gaza”. Husein joined Indonesian Idol season 8 in 2014 and successfully made it to the spectaculer stage. The judges and audiences gave him a unique nickname, “Metal Arabian”. He ended up in the runner up position, and released a single “Membawa Cinta” with a touch of Middle East rock afterwards.
