This composing duo know their way around a peppy tune, and they had major hits in the 1990s with soundtracks for Aashiqui, Saajan and Sadak. Their career together was stalled, however, after the death of T Series executive Gulshan Kumar. Nadeem was suspected in the murder case and spent years fighting the charges. Needless to say this took a toll on their composing, but the duo has made a comeback with soundtracks for films like Yeh Dil Aashiqana and Qasoor.
