Oakhands is a young Emo/Post-Hardcore band from Munich, Germany, inspired by various genres such as Post-Rock, Post-Hardcore, Emo and Indie-Rock. The band has managed to create a familiar but unique sound which is perfectly balanced between experimentalism and traditionalism.
The band cleverly uses atmospheric arrangements, catchy riffs and swaying melodies, packed with emotion, while their lyrics focus on “outside-in”-perspectives, metaphors and storytelling in order to arrive at their own, unique and personal take on music.
