Started with the cousins Julien (lead vocals, guitar) and Matthieu (guitar, vocals) and their friend Maxime (drums, keyboards, vocals), Telegraph traces the course of a youth sailing for an uncertain future, without ever losing hope. Pop, rock, folk... the trio dreams of a colourful and unbounded music. And it works ! With their debut EP "Simple Drive" and the second coming next year, Telegraph stands for a living music that brings people together. A promising start which already delights all over the world...
Telegraph roots go back to summer 2016 along the roads of California. The three fellow travellers immerse on the Beat Generation culture, making inspiring encounters on the way. Ideas start flowing, filling the pages of their notebook. From folk to urban music, through blues and electro, their aesthetic comes along, at the pace of this journey. Back in France, this initiatory route leads to a debut EP : "Simple Drive". Each song celebrates the everyday heroes, giving a message of hope to face any challenge of life. Within a few months, the single "Down in the River" gets more than 2 millions streams on all platforms and confirms its radiophonic potential.
