TELYKast make anthemic, sentimental electronic pop songs that sound equally at home on the radio and the main stage of a summer EDM festival. The Los Angeles-based trio write and record their music in their own home studios, and they perform in a unique configuration, consisting of a DJ, a guitarist, and a vocalist. Actively releasing singles and remixes since 2016,
TELYKast have collaborated with
Kaskade,
Steve Void,
Natalie Major, and several others, racking up millions of streams with tracks like "Comfortable" (2018) and "Daylight" (2019).
Formed in 2012,
TELYKast consists of former metal guitarist Trevor Klaiman, DJ/producer Kyle Tonoli, and Linus Altman-Kurosaki, who grew up playing jazz guitar. Blending EDM with pop hooks, they started releasing remixes and original material around 2015. Several tracks appeared in 2016, including "Break Your Heart" (with
Lauryn Vyce) and remixes for
the Chainsmokers and
Tritonal. Collaborations with
Ian Gott ("Stay Friends") and
Sammy Adams ("Driving") appeared in 2017, and the 2018 single "Comfortable" (with
Steve Void and
Natalie Major) proved to be one of
TELYKast's most popular songs, with dozens of remixes appearing. The group's most popular 2019 releases included the
Kaskade collaboration "No One Else," the
Aly Ryan-featuring "Better," and "Daylight" (with
One True God). ~ Paul Simpson
