Following a recent performance by Hall of Famer, Tim Allan, a New York music critic, well known for his less than kind critiques, turned the tables and flatly stated: "I know of no musician today who possesses a broader repertoire or who uses his musical knowledge to better advantage. From classics to country, as well as his original songs, Tim Allan's work is extraordinary." With a natural proficiency on guitar, banjo, mandolin, and ukulele, along with his smooth baritone vocals in a seemingly inexhaustible supply of popular standards, Tim has enjoyed engagements on television, cruise ships, at top hotels and in concert venues around the world. Canadian born, Tim and his wife, Nida, now live in Toronto. Twice North American Banjo Champion, Tim found himself performing for 14 years on television's popular Tommy Hunter Show, appearing weekly with such headliners as Glen Campbell, Reba McEntire, Pat Boone and Shania Twain. Two special highlights in Tim's career first came in 2002 when he was honored by being inducted into the American Banjo Hall Of Fame in the category of Performance and once again in 2015 in the category of Instruction & Education. www.TimAllan.com
