This release features unique and colorful orchestral works by three composers of the 19th and 20th century - Carl August Nielsen ("Aladdin" Suite, Op. 34), Josef Bohuslav Foerster (Liebeslieder, Op. 96) and Joseph Labitzky (Karlsbader Walzer, Op. 107). Foerster's Liebeslieder are performed by Czech renowned mezzo-soprano Ester Pavlu as the world premiere recording. Ester Pavlu is a graduate of the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Prague. Ester Pavlu has collaborated with many leading Czech orchestras such as the Czech Philharmonic, the Prague Orchestra FOK, the PFK – Prague Philharmonia and conductors – Jirí Belohlávek, Jaroslav Kyzlink, Heiko Mathias Förster, Marc Kominen, Pietari Inkinen, Debashish Chaudhuri etc. She performs both in the Czech Republic and all over Europe. © ArcoDiva
